Hip and groin injuries remain one of the most common and complex problems in sport, particularly in multidirectional disciplines such as football, rugby and ice hockey.

In men’s football alone, these injuries account for approximately 19% of all time-loss injuries, and the true prevalence is likely higher, as many athletes continue to train and compete despite ongoing symptoms.

Despite advances in sports medicine and the development of the Doha Agreement (2015), which introduced a more standardised clinical classification of groin pain in athletes, the diagnosis and management of this condition remain challenging. Clinical presentations frequently involve multiple anatomical structures. Moreover, recurrence rates remain high.

Prolonged rehabilitation, diagnostic uncertainty, and recurrent setbacks may place considerable physical and psychological demands on athletes.

The Groin Physio platform provides a structured and transparent approach to the assessment and management of hip and groin injuries in sport.

The courses integrate evidence-informed practice with extensive clinical expertise, enabling physiotherapists and sports physicians to refine their clinical reasoning, examination techniques, and management strategies in high-performance sport settings.
